Reader's are enjoying the summer theme of learning how to become a Detective.

North Powder Summer Reading Program 2007

Some of the kids that are in the program , are enjoying a sweet snack after the activitie.

All reader's are getting there own photo I.D., Log Book, Magnifying Glass, and there Detective disguise. With 32 kids signed up 17-20 kids have been showing up for the Summer Reading Program activities.

On Tuesday July 24th they made their own Detective Cap. On Saturday the reader's will be featured on the Library Float during the first annual Huckleberry Festival Parade. They will be wearing their caps and other detective disguise.

The parade will start at 10:00 AM, there will be many more activities throughout the day, including Entetainment, Craft's for the kids, Dog Agility Contest, Pioneer Story Swap, and more.

The Library will be selling ROOT BEER FLOATS - Featuring HOMEMADE ROOT BEER. Proceeds will go towards library needs.

Monday from 2:00-7:00PM

(Every first Monday close at 6:45 for

City Council meetings.)

Saturday from 2:00-6:00PM
