"All of us can think of a book... that we hope none of our children have taken off the shelf. But if I have the right to remove that book from the shelf -that work I abhor- then you also have exactly the same right and so does everyone else. And then we have no books left on the shelf for any of us."

November Lollapalooza in Elgin

The November Lollapalooza in Elgin will be on Tuesday Nov. 6th at 3:30 pm.

Lollapaloozas are a great library event for young and young-at-heart.  Come enjoy the read-alouds, arts and crafts activities, music and more! November's focus will be on the many different cultures of Native Americans!

As part of the Lollaplooza program, books featured during the event are donated to the Elgin library by the Union County Library District Project.

The Lollapalooza events are funded by a Library Services Technology Act grant from the Oregon State Library.  Lollapaloozas are a service demonstration of the proposed library district for Union County.
