Located at the north end of Union County, the Elgin Public Library serves more than 10,000 patrons each year. Library holdings include a Northwest Collection focusing on the history of the Elgin and Indian Valley area and featuring many historic photographs. The library was established in 1911 and is the closest library facility for three communities.
